This day, celebrated since 1995, is in honor of the founding of Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations) in London in 1963. This day is meant to celebrate the profession of graphic and communication design. For more information check out www.icograda.org.
I may not be the best of designers, but I appreciate the field greatly, so I have chosen to have a little nod to the day on the site. Every graphic on the site has been created by me. Some much better than others, I know. I have my off days. But at the end of the day, it is all in good fun and it is a wonderful profession and I have a great respect for those who actually make a true living with it, like my sister.
