Yesterday I read that Comedy Central has ordered 26 episodes of Futurama! 26 episodes that will start airing in 2010 and be aired across two seasons. This comes as a result of the recent direct to DVD movies being such a great success. I am so thrilled. I have been keeping up on the movies myself and I am so glad that this was one of those great shows that is seeing a second… well actually Cartoon Network gave it a second life. The Movies were a third life… so I guess this is somewhat of a fourth life for Futurama. Well, in any case, I am elated that it has this most recent chance to come back. I look forward to its presumably triumphant return in the coming year.
