09.08.10 Much new content is on the edge of being published… the lag is due much to my recent health issues… due to several factors [finally able to see my real live doctor next week]. I apologise for the delays… things are really getting backed up and when no one else here can quite do all that I do [despite my efforts to train certain people…], it all comes to a...

07.28.10 Recent updates have been made to all the main pages. Several pages that were main pages have been shifted around so that they are no longer accessible from the main menu. The content they had is still in the archives, but it is no longer featured as primary. This is just how things go, content gets shifted for what is perhaps more interesting content or what I think should be....
07.01.10 This is as good a time as any to remind the readers that just because we post a review with a particular opinion, does not mean that the magazine and website as a whole agrees with that view. When we send a writer out to cover a specific event or to review a certain album or other form of media, we are expecting to get back an article based on their honest experiences. Certainly...

05.13.10 Side Projects. We all have them. They distract us, they keep us busy when the main projects bore us or frustrate us. They relieve the stress caused my the main projects. They are that extra outlet that amuses us just when we need it most. Now I my my other hobbies such as photography, video games, sculpture, drawing, painting, driving, graphic design, etc… But I also play...
05.13.10 Getting a late start to it, but May is National Photo Month! And if there is one thing I do, it’s photos… so every other day or whenver I feel like it, for the rest of the month, I will post a new random photo. So just for the last couple weeks. It will amuse me, and maybe you as well. Enjoy!

04.27.10 - World Graphic Design Day This day, celebrated since 1995, is in honor of the founding of Icograda (International Council of Graphic Design Associations) in London in 1963. This day is meant to celebrate the profession of graphic and communication design. For more information check out www.icograda.org. I may not be the best of designers, but I appreciate the field greatly, so I have...
04.23.10 Every time I work towards what I feel is the inevitable goal of automating the site, something happens where I realise I love how editable it is where it stands. I love the ability to modify every little aspect of it. There is no set theme. I don’t have to pay for some little widget to make something appear in a certain way. It just is as I code it to be. Sometimes it can be...

03.29.10 I know updates have been slow going lately but there have been some changes going on behind the scenes. I don’t like that it hurts our publishing but in the future, these coming changes it will only help it.
03.11.10 Happy Birthday Douglas Adams! Here are a few of his quotes I selected to celebrate: “It is no coincidence that in no known language does the phrase ‘As pretty as an Airport’ appear.” “I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.” “I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I...
03.04.10 A slow but steady start to this new year with Flocked, we have much new content coming to you every week. Many interviews and reviews plus random tidbits of information just popping up everywhere on the site. We love to be informative even if the information is just a wee bit random. You never know when that little bit of knowledge will come in handy when out at the bar or maybe at...

01.21.10 So the long holiday/winterish break is drawing to an end and content will be bountiful once more. Once you stop it can be so difficult to get going again… but that itch comes. A tickle at first. You just brush it away. Then it grows and needs to be scratched. Or something of that sort. In any case, the 22nd deadline will be met. A procrastinator LOVES deadlines. Whether real...

12.22.09 Some new things will be coming in the new year, including a new monthly feature on Health and Wellness. So stay with us and thanks for all your support this last year, we hope to continue our strong progress throughout the coming year as well! Have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
12.21.09 Today I have once again been able to claim Annex22.com as my own. Over two years ago through various issues it was lost. Out of necessity, Annex22.net was acquired to replace it, but it was never quite the same. After that demise, rose Flocked Media. I now own them all and will hold onto them dearly. I no longer have the .net hosted, I have chosen to focus solely on Flocked. With...

24 November 2009 Each of the main pages has undergone a bit of a makeover. Just some minor changes to give a slightly sleeker look and to allow more content to be displayed more easily on each page. In the coming days the spaces created by these changes will be filled with content from the December issue which we have just crossed the threshold into. The Paucity interview was the prototype...
11.18.09 Find us on Facebook to see more galleries of all the shows we are at… so many photos and interesting things that we can’t possibly fit in here… or don’t bother to put here because it is so much easier to just post them there. It just is. Pretty stuff. It’s fun. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Flocked-Media/89098076853?ref=ts
11.09.09 So last week I had my wallet stolen and I have spent much time since getting things cancelled, replaced, fraudulent charges dealt with, and so on. Well today I had one more issue and it was with PayPal. My card through them had some charges on it and one more came through today that I was confused on so I called to get it all straightened out. Everyone else I have had to deal with has...

09.30.09 ArtPrize. There. I mentioned it.
09.25.09 I have been playing with an new app for the iPhone called SketchBook by AutoDesk. It retails for $2.99 and I am quite impressed. Time just disappears and I am easily engrossed in the various tools and modifications. I am not familiar with the full sized SketchBook program, I am a Photoshop girl, but it is a similar type of program, just very scaled back. It is for drawing with pencils,...
09.11.09 The Events Section may seem a bit random and slanted at times, but this is mostly because it reflects what Flocked is covering and supporting. Where we go, what we do, who we talk to, etc. If it is on our site, we are probably going to be reviewing it or having pictures of it, etc. Not always the case, but for the most part, it will be true. I will try to fill it in better as time...
09.03.09 Garfield. I love Garfield. Sure he isn’t what he used to be… but looking at the old strips can still bring a smile to my face.

12 August 2009: XBox had another update yesterday. I quite like it. One of the most notable for me was the Netflix enhancements. Adding the ability to browse categories, new releases, etc, is quite handy; then having the option to add them to your queue or watch them now. All they need to do next is allow for a full search. The next big addition is the Avatar Marketplace. I had always hoped they...

11 June 2009 Yesterday I read that Comedy Central has ordered 26 episodes of Futurama! 26 episodes that will start airing in 2010 and be aired across two seasons. This comes as a result of the recent direct to DVD movies being such a great success. I am so thrilled. I have been keeping up on the movies myself and I am so glad that this was one of those great shows that is seeing a...

While this is still getting set up for use on http://www.flockedmedia.com I will be posting a few random and meaningless things to just get used to what this is all capable of and how it will display on the other end. I want the editorial page to be used for something of interest, even if the interest is only to me and the random few. Consider this the beta testing period.

Editorial Page update… This stream will be provided by the technology of the blog site Tumblr. I thought I would test it out and see what use it could be with its easy ability to update from wherever I am, via email, via phone, etc. It will be random mobile goodness from everywhere Flocked Media goes. So check back for more updates now that we are getting things up and running...
